We had a wonderful stay and were pleasantly surprised! The Great Escape Lodge is very family friendly and clean. So sad that 6 flags permanently ruined the memories that all of these kids will have forever of their 8th grade graduation trip.… Then they get almost to the front of one of the hour-long lines and."lightning in the area ride closed." That's what you do when you want to go on break but you're "short staffed" is pretend that there's lightning. This causes an hour-long line for every decent ride. Since they don't tell anyone this ahead of time, when everyone shows up and the water park is closed, everyone decides to stay and all the people that planned to go to the water park go to the amusement park instead, making it twice as busy. They arrived on a 93 degree day to find out.the water park is closed! "Lack of staff." The universal excuse for mismanagement, laziness, and everything else these days. They did a lot of work over the course of many months to raise money for the trip. My son's class planned their 8th grade graduation trip here. This place is horribly managed and I'm writing this review in hopes that someone else doesn't waste their time and money going here.
